2,000 horses, 8 days and more than $1 million in awards
The 119th World’s Championship Horse Show (WCHS) gallops into Freedom Hall Aug. 20-27, full of the glitz and glamor that makes it the most prestigious Saddlebred show in the world. Tickets go on sale June 20 at 10 a.m. The event is held in conjunction with the Kentucky State Fair.
Recognized as the premier championship in the Saddlebred industry, WCHS features 2,000 horses competing for the title of Grand Champion and more than $1 million in awards. Saddlebreds, hackney ponies and standard bred horses compete on green shavings bringing the best of the best to Freedom Hall for 8 days.
Eight divisions are present at this year's show including five and three-gaited, fine harness, Saddlebred pleasure, equitation, hackney/harness ponies, roadster ponies/horses, and in-hand.

Gate admission to the Kentucky State Fair is required for all performances and not included in individual performance ticket purchases. Tickets to performances are available at the Kentucky Exposition Center Ticket Office or online at wchorseshow.com/tickets.
All week reserved seats (upper-level rows C through row L), are available for $184. This price includes fair admission for all 16 shows which are comprised of two practice days, six free morning shows and 8 paid evening shows. Please call 502-367-5144 to order.
