Update Regarding the 2022 World’s Championship Horse Show Premium Checks

Dear World's Championship Horse Show premium check recipients,

The Kentucky State Fair Board (KSFB) has been made aware that many of the World's Championship Horse Show (WCHS) checks have not been delivered, and several of those that have been cashed were forged. We are working with the United States Postal Service, Kentucky State Treasury, and our bank to address these issues.

If you have received your premium payment, we asked that you process the check through your bank as soon as possible.

If you have not received your check dated 09/30/22, please contact our Accounts Payable team at KSFBPayments@kyvenues.com to request a new payment. In your request, please include your name, mailing address, and phone number.

If you have any questions, problems, or concerns regarding the status of your check, please call Accounts Payable at 502-367-5257 or email KSFBPayments@kyvenues.com.

Kentucky Venues will not ask you for personal information such as your social security number, or banking/routing information. Be aware of potential phishing attempts in light of seasonally elevated fraudulent activity. View our blog post or continue to check your email for future updates regarding this matter.

Dear World's Championship Horse Show premium check recipients,

Based on feedback from exhibitors and the direction of the Kentucky State Treasury, we will be voiding (stopping payment) of all outstanding checks.

Premium checks will be reissued and mailed next week. It is estimated that it may take several business days to deliver.

Our investigation with the United States Postal Service remains open. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience this has caused and will be implementing additional measures ahead of the 2023 World's Championship Horse Show to expedite payment and better protect checks in transit.
