WCHS Futurities and the Bill Wise Four-Year-Old Sweepstakes Entry Clarifications

WCHS Futurity

1. Any weanling, yearling or two-year-old shown in the 2024 WCHS Futurities are eligible for their respective 2025 WCHS Futurity classes.

A. If you are planning on showing a weanling, eligible yearling, eligible two-year-old or eligible three-year-old in the WCHS Futurity in 2025, the horse must be entered on the official KSF WCHS entry blank by July 2, 2025 deadline with payment.

B. A weanling/yearling/two-year-old that is shown in a 2025 WCHS Futurity will be eligible for all future WCHS Futurities.

C. If any weanling/yearling/two-year-old is entered in a 2025 WCHS Futurity and cannot be shown, the entry will still be eligible for future futurities.

2. If a weanling is not planning to show at all in a 2025 WCHS Futurity, but the owner wants to make it eligible for future WCHS Futurities, the form located on www.wchorseshow.com must be filled out and returned to the horse show office with payment by the July 2, 2025 entry deadline.

3. If an eligible yearling or two-year-old (which would be a weanling or yearling that was shown in the 2024 WCHS Futurities) is not planning to show at all in a 2025 WCHS Futurity but the owner wants to maintain its eligibility for future WCHS Futurities, the form located on www.wchorseshow.com must be filled out and returned to the horse show office with payment by the July 2, 2025 entry deadline.

WCHS Bill Wise Four-Year-Old Sweepstakes

If a three-year-old was nominated in the 2024 Bill Wise Sweepstakes through their breed association and kept eligible for the 2025 Bill Wise Four-Year-Old Sweepstakes, the horse must be entered in the 2025 WCHS Bill Wise Four-Year-Old Sweepstakes class with payment on the official KSF WCHS entry blank by the July 2, 2025 entry deadline.

To nominate a three-year-old for the 2026 Bill Wise Sweepstakes use the WCHS Futurity & Bill Wise Sweepstake Eligibility form on the website www.wchorseshow.com and return to the horse show office by July 2, 2025.
