Futurity & Sweepstakes Information

The WCHS Futurities will again be held at the Kentucky State Fair World's Championship Horse Show. All entries in the 2025 WCHS Futurities are considered eligible at the $150 entry fee at the closing date of the 2026 World's Championship Horse Show. All horses not entered in a WCHS Futurity class in 2025 that completed the non-showing continuing eligibility form at the 2025 closing of entries will also be eligible going forward. To keep a colt eligible, if not showing in 2026, a continuing eligibility form must be completed by the due date along with a $150 fee to maintain eligibility. If an eligible colt is entered in a 2026 WCHS Futurity class and either shown or scratched, the colt will be eligible going forward in 2027 if the $150 entry fee is paid at the closing of entries. A 2026 Weanling can be entered in the class on the regular closing date. To enter a non-eligible colt in 2026 the following "Buy-In" fee is available:

• Yearling - $500
• Two-Year-Old - $2,500
• Three-Year-Old - $5,000

The list of qualified horses is above.  To access these forms and the qualifying list, see above.  Complete the correct forms for your entry and return to the Kentucky State Fair Horse Show office by the closing date of July 2, 2026.

Horses entered in the WCHS futurities and sweepstakes are not required to enter any other futurities or sweepstakes.
