WCHS Named Permanent Home of Bill Wise American Saddlebred Sweepstakes Program
The World’s Championship Horse Show (WCHS) is proud to announce that Kentucky Venues has officially been appointed as the new administrator of the prestigious Bill Wise American Saddlebred Sweepstakes Program. This long-term collaboration, solidified through a new Memorandum of Understanding, marks a milestone for the storied program and strengthens its future within the Saddlebred industry.
Established nearly 50 years ago, the Bill Wise American Saddlebred Sweepstakes has awarded more than $6.5 million in prize money supporting the breeding, development, and exhibition of elite American Saddlebred horses. The program's impact spans generations, cultivating excellence in conformation, movement, and presentation through age-specific classes.
“The World’s Championship Horse Show is honored to serve as the permanent home for the Bill Wise American Saddlebred Sweepstakes,” said David S. Beck, President & CEO of Kentucky Venues. “This decision affirms Freedom Hall’s standing as the premier stage for world-class Saddlebred competition and provides participants confidence in our commitment to the industry’s enduring future.”
